Step into a water filled virtual gallery that celebrates 30 years of L’Eau d’Issey

Celebrating 30 years of L’Eau d’Issey, Issey Miyake honors the timeless elegance of his iconic fragrance. Inspired by the purity of water, its fresh, aquatic notes have symbolized simplicity and harmony since its 1992 launch. This milestone highlights the brand’s enduring influence, commemorated with special editions and tributes that celebrate its legacy.

To mark the occasion, Shiseido invited us to create a virtual gallery showcasing two artists’ interpretations of the essence of L’Eau d’Issey. Inspired by the water droplet atop the fragrance bottle, we designed a fluid, interactive navigation interface. Upon entering the site, users could touch and explore the droplet, seamlessly immersing themselves in a virtual gallery space to experience each artist’s work.
